¿Te ha llegado por correo convencional o mensajería un sobre con el logotipo de la empresa ¨PROPIMEX”? ¡¡CUIDADO PORQUE ES UN INTENTO DE FRAUDE”.
El 10 de Enero de este año 2026 llegó a mi domicilio un sobre con el logotipo de “PROPIMEX”. Lo abrí para conocer su contenido y cuando lo vi y lo leí me quede realmente sorprendido. Se trata de una notificación de pago que esta empresa “PROPIMEX” me esta exigiendo para no perder los derechos sobre el registro de mi marca.
En el año 2024 pagué al “IMPI” (INSTITUTO MEXICANO DE LA PROPIEDAD INDUSTRIAL), la renovación del registro de la marca de mi empresa, el pago que realice fue a través de un deposito bancario directamente a la cuenta bancaria de éste Instituto en donde aparece como beneficiario. El pago que ésta empresa fraudulenta “PROPIMEX” me esta exigiendo es a través de un deposito o transferencia en donde aparece como beneficiaria, por lo cual, despertó en mí muchas sospechas y me di a la tarea de investigar con el señor Google la actividad de esta empresa. Mi sospecha se hizo realidad, lo que me dio como respuesta es:
“PROPIMEX” Desde hace algunos años, existen despachos como el denominado PROPIMEX que se dedica a enviarles una carta por correo al domicilio de los titulares de marcas registradas mediante la cual exigen el pago de $4,350.00 pesos por concepto de LICENCIA de uso de marca, empresa que no es parte del gobierno y que no forma parte alguna del IMPI, exigen el pago de dicho pago en una cuenta de BBVA BANCOMER, argumentan que la declaración de uso debe realizarse DE FORMA OBLIGATORIA, situación que NO es cierta, SI EL TITULAR DE LA MARCA DESEA DAR UNA LICENCIA A SU MARCA, ESO ES OPCIONAL, LO QUE SI SE DEBE INSCRIBIR ES EL CONTRATO DE LICENCIA, EN SU CASO, este tipo de personas se aprovechan de la base de datos del IMPI y contactan por correo a un sin número de personas las cuales por no conocer a fondo el tema de marcas en México pagan y depositan a la cuenta indicada por PROPIMEX.
¡¡NO TE DEJES SORPRENDER POR ESTOS ESTAFADORES” Lo que si me sorprende y me causa mucha inquietud es lo siguiente: ¿Cómo le hacen para conseguir absolutamente toda tu información? Esta información incluye mi nombre, mi dirección particular, mi logotipo, es decir, toda la información completa.
